Line-Interactive UPS

Line interactive UPS systems are generally used for power protection in moderately important load applications. The units generally feature automatic voltage regulation, meaning they will rectify under- or over-voltage conditions without depleting the battery, although full galvanic isolation between the load and the input is not achieved. Line interactive units are available in either modified sine wave or full sine wave output between ranging in size between 1 and 3 kVA. Some typologies such as single conversion on line UPSs are similar to the line interactive principle, but are available in sizes up to 10kVA.
